She choreographed a contemporary piece for this spring semester’s student showcase. Megan has a background in gymnastics and is comfortable with acrobatics. She considers her strengths to lie in kinesthetic awareness and quickly understanding and applying corrections. Adam Tardif
Adam Tardif says his dance story is short and still very much in the making. He arrived on a trip to move to music 8 years ago. “When I was 30, I saw the video of Sergei Polunin dancing to Hozier’s “Take Me to Church”. I wanted to be him immediately. I started working on my physical fitness, and body awareness but it wasn’t until 300 views of the video and 3 years after the first one that I seized an opportunity, along with my 7 year old son, to take part in a ballet production of the Nutcracker. The experience was exhilarating, challenging, humbling, and most importantly fun. My son hated it, but I’ve been hooked since.”
