Experience the allure of Argentine Tango at The Music Hall Lounge in Portsmouth, NH, as LILA Productions presents “Milonga!” Featuring choreography by Alejandro Figliolo, the LILA Dance Festival’s 2024 Guest Artist, captures the very essence of Tango. Alejandro, a Tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Buenos Aires, brings his expertise to the stage in this intimate daytime performance.

Audience members are invited to and participate in a brief class, where they’ll learn the fundamental steps of Tango. “Milonga!” also offers a unique opportunity for attendees to take the stage and engage in a traditional milonga where participants can join the performers on stage, experiencing the heart of Argentine Tango firsthand.

Exciting news! Introducing our inaugural series of tango Zoom classes featuring our 2024 guest Alejandro Figliolo!

Join us for an enriching experience as Alejandro guides you through the basics of tango. No prior experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm! While these classes are not mandatory for auditioning for his choreography, they are highly recommended. However, participation in the classes does not necessitate auditioning. Classes operate on a donation basis.

Mark your calendars for our first four-week series, taking place on Tuesdays from 7:30pm-8:30pm, starting April 9th through 30th, at LILA Studios in Rochester, NH. Additionally, remote participation via Zoom is available. Wear tango, character, or jazz shoes with heels for the complete experience.
