We’re excited to invite dancers to audition for the 2025 LILA Dance Festival! This year, dancers have two distinct opportunities to get involved. You are welcome to audition for either or both paths.

Dancers must be 18 or older. Preference is given to dancers based in the New England region, but all are welcome to apply.

Audition for a work by our Guest Choreographer Millie Heckler, premiering on the LILA MainStage.
Auditioning dancers will be considered for a professional-level piece that rehearses intensively in the weeks leading up to the festival.

June 14, 2025 – 2:00pm-4:00pm

June 15, 2025 11:00am-1:00pm 

This audition gives dancers the opportunity to be considered for:

LiLaB Residency Projects
Work closely with one of our selected LiLaB choreographers to create a new, collaborative piece during a short-term residency.

Fairytales & Tutus
Our interactive, narrated children’s show. Dancers play characters and engage with young audiences.

You only need to attend one audition. Both dates offer the same casting opportunities and choreographer representation. Dancers will be considered for all applicable roles, and casting decisions will be made by the LILA team in collaboration with our choreographers based on the needs and vision of each project. Not all dancers will be selected.

Dancers unable to attend the live audition are welcome to submit a video audition, although priority will be given to those attending in person. Please submit video auditions by June 14, 2025.
