We’re excited to invite dancers to audition for the 2025 LILA Dance Festival! This year, dancers have two distinct opportunities to get involved. You are welcome to audition for either or both paths.

Dancers must be 18 or older. Preference is given to dancers based in the New England region, but all are welcome to apply.

Audition for a work by our Guest Choreographer Millie Heckler, premiering on the LILA MainStage.
Auditioning dancers will be considered for a professional-level piece that rehearses intensively in the weeks leading up to the festival.

Auditions will be held in early June. Exact date, time, and location will be announced soon.

This audition gives dancers the opportunity to be considered for:

LiLaB Residency Projects
Work closely with one of our selected LiLaB choreographers to create a new, collaborative piece during a short-term residency.

Fairytales & Tutus
Our interactive, narrated children’s show. Dancers play characters, engage with young audiences, and perform both choreographed and improvised segments. A playful and creative performance experience.

You’ll be considered for all applicable roles through one audition. Casting decisions will be made by the LILA team in collaboration with our choreographers based on the needs and vision of each project.
